I was born and raised in Houston, Texas and moved to Austin in my early twenties.  By my thirties I discovered a passion for painting and in 2006 began pursuing art full time.  In 2007 I started hosting my own art openings and was lucky enough to acquire several serious collectors.  I don’t have any deep philosophical or mysterious explanation for my paintings.  It’s still a mystery to me that I get to paint for a living and for that I am very grateful.  What I do know is that painting makes me feel good…I feel like I’m doing what I should be doing when I’m painting.  I’m not interested in creating shapes or the relationships of color.  I’m more interested in the experience of expressing my emotions with the unintentional results that evoke a reaction in others and for me that is the attraction.
